When users could not disable Charge for Shipping checkbox because it is grayed out, consider the following:
Whether the Multiple Shipping Routes feature is enabled. To disable Charge for Shipping, the Multiple Shipping Routes feature must first be disabled. Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Transactions tab > Shipping & Receiving > Unmark Multiple Shipping Routes > Click Save.
Note: Before turning off the Multiple Shipping Routes feature, user must fulfill and bill all outstanding orders with multiple shipping routes. Otherwise, user will receive a pop-up warning message.
