Change the Subsidiary of Locations


The Subsidiary of a Location cannot be changed once the record is saved . If users need to change the assigned Subsidiary the customer needs to create a new Location records. Here are the steps in case the customer will no longer use the existing location:

1. Navigate to Setup > Company > Locations
2. Edit Location
3. Set Is Inactive = True
4. Click Save
5. Create new location. Navigate to Setup > Company > Locations > New
6. Select the correct subsidiary on the Subsidiary field
7. Click Save.
