Task Assignment Alerts sent to employees when logged into https://system2.netsuite.com do not link to the task record

The standard email template when you create a task and check the Send Email is not currently customizable. Therefore when the employee receives the assigned task, the link is hardcoded with "system.netsuite com" or the datacenter where the account is hosted in (i.e. system.na1.netsuite.com).

The alternate solution is to create a task saved search alert that will send these notifications instead. For example if you want to send the alerts when assigning new tasks to employees you can set the criterion on the search to be Status is Not Started. Under Email check the Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated box. Under Email > Recipients from Results add Assigned To.
