Permission to Delete Last Sales Activity Entries
Last Sales Activity (LSA) is a custom record created from installing a managed bundle (see Last Sales Activity for more information).
Since it is from a managed bundle, the custom record is locked and cannot be edited when viewed by navigating to Setup > Customization > Record Types.
If a non-admin user needs to have the ability to delete LSA entries, the role of the user must have Custom Record Entries permission set to Full since the Access Type set for the bundle is Require Custom Record Entries Permission.
To add this permission:
1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. Edit the Role
3. Under Permissions tab > Lists subtab > add Custom Record Entries permission.
4. Set the Access Level = Full to allow the user to delete a record.
For more information about the different Access Levels, please see Access Levels for Permissions.
4. Click on Save.
NOTE:
Custom Record Entries permission will be applied to all Custom Record Types. This means, not only Last Sales Activity custom record will be available to the user but all other custom records created in the account.
