Edit Prior Year Net Book Value (NBV) of an Asset

Currently, this is filed as an Enhancement 204796.

 

The workaround to change the information would be as follow:

 

- Edit the Asset Original Cost on the asset record just so Prior Year NBV will be changed to the same value as well (We can revert the Asset Original Cost later via CSV Import of Asset Record).

- Save the changes.

- Import a CSV file with the following columns:

 

ID	Asset Original Cost
FAM00000	xxx

 

- Select Custom Record as Import Type.

- Select FAM - Asset as Record Type.

- Select Update for Data Handling on the next page.

- Map the field as follow:

 

	ID		ID
		Asset Original Cost		Asset Original Cost

 

- Click Next to perform the import.

- The CSV import will update the Original Cost but Prior Year NBV will not be changed.
