Disassociate label.bat from Notepad or other files in Set up of Thermal Printer

When setting up Thermal Printer. One step is to create a bat file and associate it with epl2 file. There are some instances when the label.bat is saved and it is automatically associated with Notepad or other files.

 

Troubleshooting:
    -Open a Notepad and saved it with a name that is unique and no file type is named alike (e.g. "anything.arc").
    - Select All Files in the Save as Type field.
    - Select Desktop as location to save the file to and click Save.
    -Go to Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a program.
    -Locate ".bat" and Click Change Program button
    -browse "anything.arc"
    -Click Open then Ok.

 

This is applicable to Windows XP, 7 and 8 Computer Operating Systems.
