View a Separate List of Customers only when using Basic Projects Feature

When Advanced Projects feature is not enabled in NetSuite, Projects are included on the Customers list. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers to verify this. The page will show Customers & Projects.

To view a separate list of customers only that excludes projects, users may create a Saved Search.

To create the Saved Search:

1) Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New or Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New
2) Choose Customer as search type
3) Enter a Search Title that would describe the search
4) Under the Criteria tab > Standard subtab > Filter column, add Is Project = is false (No)
5) Under the Results tab > Columns subtab > Field column, add or remove fields that you need and you do not need to see
6) Mark Available as List View check box to make the search available as a custom list view when you navigate to customers list
7) Click Save & Run

To use the result on the customers' list:
-Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Customers
-At the footer of the page, click dropdown list of the View filter
-Locate the Search Title provided on the search above
