User Event Script > Set field as mandatory

It is possible to set fields Mandatory using Server Side - User Event Script - Before Load Function. See example below.

function userEventBeforeLoad(type, form, request){

	    // body field example
    var locationField = nlapiGetField('location');
    if (locationField) {
        locationField.setMandatory(true);
    }

		    // column field example
    var classFieldItemSublist = nlapiGetLineItemField('item','class');
    if (classFieldItemSublist){
         classFieldItemSublist.setMandatory(true);
    }

			}
