To get the correct local:
1. Go to https://thefinder.tax.ohio.gov/StreamlineSalesTaxWeb/default_municipal.aspx
For the SchoolDistrict:
a. Click the SchoolDistrict link under the The Finder
b. Click Address under Lookup Tax Rate
c. Enter the Address, City and Zip Code of the employee or workplace
d. Click Lookup button
For the Municipality:
a. Click the MunicipalTax link under The Finder
b. Click Address under Lookup Tax Rate
c. Enter the Address, City and Zip Code of the employee or workplace
d. Click Lookup button
2. Enter the Combination in NetSuite:
For the employee:
a. Navigate to Lists > Employees > Employees
b. Edit the employee record
c. Click Payroll > Jurisdictions tab
d. Select the Municipalitynext to the Local Field
e. Select the SchoolDistrict next to the School Districtfield
f. Save the record
For the Workplace:
a. Navigate to Lists > Employees > Workplaces
b. Edit the Ohio workplace
c. Select the Municipalitynext to the Local Field.
d. Select the SchoolDistrict next to the School Districtfield
e. Save
Note: If no valid Local orSchool District, select NONE. Thisgenerally has a zero (0.000%) rate.
3. Sync the updates done to the payroll taxengine through the Update Payroll Information screen
a. Navigate to Setup > Payroll> Update Payroll Information
b. If you have a NetSuite OneWorld account, select a subsidiary from thedropdown list in the Subsidiaryfield
c. Click the Agree checkbox
d. Click Commit Updates
e. Navigate to the To Resolve tab tocheck for any errors and resolve
