NetSuite for Outlook > Contact record does not sync due to error: The field phone contained more than the maximum number (22) of characters allowed.

Phone fields in NetSuite can contain up to 22 characters only while Outlook phone fields can contain up to 109 characters. User will need to update the phone number associated with the contact record to meet the NetSuite limit and sync Contact from Outlook to NetSuite.
