Create an Item Saved Search that Excludes all Parent and Child Matrix Items

1. Go to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New

2. Select Item as search type

3. On the Criteria Tab > Standard subtab, add the following filters:

·         Matrix Item = False

·         Matrix Child Item = False

 

4. On the Results tab > Columns subtab, add or remove fields according to your preference.

5. Rename the search and hit Save and Run.
