If a customer deposit is incorrectly entered into:
Transactions > Bank > Make Deposits instead of Transactions > Customers > Record Customer Deposits you can still attach the deposit to an invoice.
- Edit the deposit to ensure the account selected under the deposit tab is the same account as set on the invoice
- Transactions > Customers > Accept Customer Payment and select the customer
- Check the deposit in the Credits sub tab of the Accounts tab
- Check the invoice in the Invoice sub tab
