Unable to delete FAM - Alternate Depreciation record > This custom record entry cannot be deleted because it is referred to by other records

 

Solution:

User needs to delete the Alternate Depreciation History records first before deleting the FAM – Alternate Depreciation method.

 

1.    Open the asset record.

2.    Go to Tax Methods > Alternate Depreciation History.

3.    Click Edit beside the Alternate Depreciation History records.

4.    Go to More Actions > Delete.

 

Note: Upon deleting all Alternate Depreciation History records, user can now delete the associated FAM – Alternate Depreciation.
