A user will sometimes need to verify when the tax control account was changed. An example is when the account was set to inactive. Take note that if a tax control account is inactive, any tax codes associated with it will no longer be available for selection when you create or edit a transaction record.
Changes made on the tax control accounts are shown on the system notes of the account itself. To view this, navigate to Lists > Accounting > Accounts. Look for the tax control account and hit Edit. Go to System Notes tab.
Take note that not all changes made are reflected since the system notes in the accounts were introduced in 2011.2.
