Disable Advanced Bin Management feature: You can not turn off the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory feature after creating transaction with Serial or Lot items using bins

Users encounters this message after they turned on and are attempting to disable to the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management feature: You can not turn off the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory feature after creating transaction with Serial or Lot items using bins

Users can take these steps aside from the those indicated under Answer ID: 30972:

1.       Go to Setup> Company> Enable Features>  Items & Inventory

2.       Remove the checkmark on the Bin Management checkbox

3.       Hit Save

4.       Go back to Setup> Company> Enable Features>  Items & Inventory

5.       Remove the checkmark on the Advanced Bin/Numbered Inventory Management checkbox

6.       Hit Save

7.       Users can then turn on the Bin Management feature afterward

Note: It is highly advisable for users to test the impact first of these steps in Sandbox especially to see the effect to existing scripts related to inventory items. The reason for this is that not all customer account are the same and the impact will be different in a case to case basis.
