Custom A/R Register Report > Opening/Beginning Balance is not showing in the Balance column

Scenario:

        Custom A/R Register Report > Opening/beginningbalance is not showing in the Balance column.

 

Solution:

  • Verify that the Balance column is the Running Balance of Transactions: Amount (Gross) column and not a different Amount column (i.e. Amount (Foreign Currency)).
  • Hit the Customize button
  • Navigate to Edit Columns tab
  • Click the Amt Chrg/Amt Paid (Transactions: Amount (Gross)) column
  • Mark the Add Running Balance Column = True
  • Rename the report
  • Save/Preview the report
