Scenario:
• Custom A/R Register Report > Opening/beginningbalance is not showing in the Balance column.
Solution:
- Verify that the Balance column is the Running Balance of Transactions: Amount (Gross) column and not a different Amount column (i.e. Amount (Foreign Currency)).
- Hit the Customize button
- Navigate to Edit Columns tab
- Click the Amt Chrg/Amt Paid (Transactions: Amount (Gross)) column
- Mark the Add Running Balance Column = True
- Rename the report
- Save/Preview the report
