A reason for this behavior is because Protected Mode is enabled in the Internet Explorer Security settings.
Do one of the following solutions:
Solution 1: Use a Different Web Browser.
- Use a different web browser, such as Firefox or Chrome, to print the PDF file.
Solution 2: Run Internet Explorer with No-Add on Mode
- Click Start, type in INETCPL.CPL and press Enter.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box.
- Click Apply
- Click Ok.
- Start Internet Explorer, and then try to reproduce the issue.
Or
- Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add Ons)
- Then try to reproduce the issue.
- In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Deselect the checkbox labeled Enable Protected Mode.
- Click OK.
- Close Internet Explorer.
- Re-open Internet Explorer.
- Browse to the PDF file that you want to print.
- Print the File
Note: If either Solution 2 or 3 works for you and after the test, consult your IT personnel to verify the settings of the Internet Explorer installed in your Computer.
