Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Proposal > Code: INVALID_KEY_OR_REF Details: Invalid custrecord_propdepracc reference key xx.

This error is encountered if the Asset Type Depreciation Account selected (Fixed Assets > Setup > Asset Types > Accounts tab) is inactive (XXX refers to the Internal ID of the Asset Type Depreciation Account.

 

To resolve, user can activate the Depreciation Account or set a different one instead.

 

1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Accounts.

2. Mark the Show Inactives checkbox.

3. Locate the Internal ID of the Depreciation Account.

4. Unmark the Inactive checkbox.

5. Click Save.
