Behaviour of Passing Partner Code Parameter through URLs

When passing partner code parameter through URLs by appending '&partner=' or by using the Partner record's referring URL that can be found under the record's Marketing tab – using either the Partner's ID or Internal ID will still work. All transactions/customer/lead records that was referred via the appended URL will set get to be assigned to the correct Partner record.

 

Example:

 

Partner Wolf Electronics:

Partner ID: WE

Partner Code: 1234

Partner Internal ID: 546
