Add a Custom Field to the Store tab of the Item Form

When creating a custom Item field and assigning it to a Subtab, Store tab is not listed on the dropdown. Thus, not allowing the user to add this field to the Store/Web Store tab of the item form. 

To be able to add the field to the Store tab, create the custom item field first and assign it to any tab then customize the Item form and move the field to the Store tab. Here are the steps:

Create the custom item field:

1.    Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields >  Item Fields > New.

2.    Type the Label.

3.    Select the Type.

4.    In the Applies To tab, mark the type/s of items where you want this field to be added (example: Inventory Item, Non-Inventory Item, etc.)

5.    In the Display tab, leave the Subtab blank so it will be added to the Custom subtab.

6.    Click Save.

Customize the Item form:

1.    Navigate to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms.

2.    Edit/Customize the item form.

3.    Click on Move Elements Between Subtabs button.

4.    Navigate to Fields tab > Custom.

5.    Mark on the Select checkbox next to the name of the custom field created and choose Web Store on the Subtab.

6.    Click Save.

7.    Click Save again.

Note: Customize each of the item form and move the field manually to the Web Store tab as needed.
