Web Store Does Not Display Option to Register as New Customer

If web store setup is already set to require customer registration but no link to register is being displayed, make sure the web site scope is set to Full Web Store. The Register option will only be available when web store is set to Full Web Store and will not display for Information/Catalog  type of web site.

 

Navigate to Setup > Site Builder > Set Up Web Site > under Setup subtab > Web Site Scope = Full Web Store.
