Unable to Login : Error You have entered an invalid email address and password. Please try again.

This happens when Web Services Only Role is enabled on the Custom Role not the Standard Role.

To solve the problem, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.
2. Edit the Custom Role.
3. Uncheck Web Services Only Role.
4. Click Save.
