Modify the Text Color of the Promotion Code Line Discount Strikeout Amount in the Shopping Cart

This solution is applicable if web store uses a promotion code with DISPLAY LINE DISCOUNTS enabled. For more information, please see Answer ID 22118.


I. Create a Web site Tag
a.Navigate to Setup > Site Builder >Tags
b.Assign a name on the Tag field ex. COLORSTRIKEOUTTEXT
c.Leave the Default Value blank
d.Click Save

II. Edit the Web site Theme applied to the website.
a.Navigate to Setup > Site Builder >Themes
b.Click Edit next to the Web Site Theme 
c.In the Body tab > Footer Template, place the COLORSTRIKEOUTTEXT  tag

<COLORSTRIKEOUTTEXT><!-- end footer - -->
d.Click Save

III. Call the COLORSTRIKEOUTTEXT Tag in the Shopping Cart Tab
a.Navigate to List > Website > Tabs
b.Click Edit next to the Shopping Cart
c.Click on the Tag Substitution tab
d.Under the Tag column, select the COLORSTRIKEOUTTEXT Tag in the drop down menu
e.In the Substitution Value column, add this code;

<style>.cartstrikeoutamount {color:red;}</style>
d.Click Save
