Create a portlet showing all the open Sales Orders

Create a transaction saved search for open sales orders and add it to a portlet for as follows:

1. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New

--Click Transactions

--Search Title = type in a name for the search

-Under Criteria tab > filter the following:

--Billing Status = Open

--Type = Sales Order

-Under Results tab

*select all the other required fields to display in the result columns

-Save

 

2. Navigate to Home dashboard

-Click on Personalize Dashboard link (Top right hand corner or from the Settings portlet)

--Click on Custom Search portlet

--Select Setup from the menu on the portlet

---select the custom transaction saved search from Step 1 in the Search dropdown field

--Save

 

A custom saved search portlet on the Home dashboard is displayed with all open sales orders.
