"The Account XXX is not available in the elimination subsidiary (Elimination Subsidiary)" When Running the Eliminate Intercompany Transactions Task on Period Close Checklist

Intercompany accounts are used to record transactions between subsidiaries. For Intercompany transactions to be successfully eliminated, accounts involved should not be restricted to a specific subsidiary and should at least be set up with 2 subsidiaries. Make sure that the account indicated in the error message is not restricted to a single subsidiary under Setup > Accounting > Chart of Accounts.
