Solution/Workaround/Gotcha/Recommendation:

On the CSV file, the Asset column (which will be mapped with the Asset field on the Field Mapping page) must include the ID and the Name of the Asset.

For example if the ID is FAM000001 and the Name is Dell Computer.  The format on the CSV file for the Asset column should be FAM000001 Dell Computer.
