Workflow Enhancements
Is it necessary to specify Event Type values? No. The field Event Type is optional. Note that there are different Event Types supported depending on the Trigger type selected. What happens if no Event Type value is set?The workflow will continue to run as they have in the previous versions. I'm not seeing any values in the Event Type multi-select field.Check that the Trigger type is not set to "All". Applicable Event Types are shown for each Trigger type selected. Is it necessary to specify Context values? What happens if no Context value is set?No. Setting context types is optional. If no values are set then the workflow, actions or transitions will run in all contexts. How do I know which Context to set? This would depend on your current use case. If the workflow initiation needs to be limited only for Sales Orders coming from the Web Store, then "Web Store" should be selected. I have set the Context to "Web Services" but the workflow was not triggered when the record is submitted via Web Services.Make sure that the preference "Disable Server SuiteScript Web Services" was not enabled. Will there be a conflict when copying a workflow if the existing workflow has a status of "Released"?No. All copied workflows will have their status set by default to "Not Running". When a workflow is copied what happens to the custom records and fields that are referenced within the workflow? The references to custom records and fields are preserved. No copies of these will be created. Why am I not seeing the option to add attachment when using the Send Campaign Email action? The ability to attach files is limited to the Send Email action at this time. Generally, attachments are not yet supported for Campaign Emails. Can I attach multiple files using the Send Email action? No. Only one (1) file per each Send Email action is supported at this time. Is there a limitation to the size of the file that can be attached? The same limitation in SuiteScript would apply, that is, 5MB.
