Workflow Does not Trigger When Lead is Created From the Web Store

 

Customers that register in the Web Store are initially created as Lead records if no Sales has been made yet. A workflow deployed on the Lead record does not seem to trigger if the Lead is created from the Web Store. The solution is to deploy the workflow on the Customer record as well. Below is a sample workflow setup that will be triggered during create of Lead record from the Web Store:

Execute as Admin: No
Release Status : Released
Initiation: On Create: Yes
