Reminders Portlet and Approve Purchase Requests Page Does Not Display Purchase Requests for Approval

Scenario:

·        User A created a Purchase Request Using a non-Administrator role

·        User B logs in as Administrator and either:

·        1.  

·        Click Setupin the Home dashboard > Reminders portlet

·        Click the AddStandard Reminders button

·        Select PurchaseRequests to Approve

·        Click the Donebutton

·        Hit the Savebutton

·        2.

·        Go to GlobalSearch and looks for page: ApprovePurchase Requests

·        Actual Results:

·        The newly created Purchase Request is missing in both Home dashboard : Reminders portlet and in the Approve Purchase Requests page

 

Findings:

·        The Administrator is not tagged as a Purchase Approver in any of the employeerecords > Human Resources tab> Expenses and Purchasing portlet

·        Only users that are tagged as Purchase Approver may view the PurchaseRequests to approve both in the Homedashboard: Reminders portlet and theactual Approve Purchase Requestspage
