Most Common Cause of Report Execution Errors on New Quota Reports

There are instances when you run a new quota report by going into Reports > New Reports > Quota that a Report Execution Error occurs.

This is most of the time caused by a setting found under Home > Set Preferences > Analytics tab > Reporting section.

The correct value for the field Report by Period is Financials Only. If you have it set for All Reports, this is the main cause of the error.

Note: The reason why an error is being thrown when you run a Quota report is because Quotas are set monthly and can't be run by specific periods (Fiscal Quarter, Half, Year, Etc).
