Can I send the email notification - that says the download is complete, to a different email address?

No. It can only be sent to the email address of the user who processed the request.

 

What actions in the Tax Audit page will show a system note?

The said page will show a system note when you create, delete, cancel, generate and download any tax audit files.

 

Is there a limit in the number or transactions/records in the tax audit file that will be downloaded?

There is a hard limit of 500MB file size per export.

 

If I have a NetSuite OneWorld version, can I generate a tax audit file for both the parent and its subsidiaries?

You will have to select the Parent Subsidiary in the subsidiary dropdown then put a check mark on the Group tickbox beside it.

 

If in Home > Set Preferences > Reporting/Search > Report by Period is set to NEVER, will I still be able to download my tax audit files?

The said preference won't affect the said feature.

 

Can I generate a tax audit file for a particular transaction date (e.g. August 1 – 15, 2011)?

No. You can only set a minimum of one period (e.g August 2011 – August 2011).  

 

Can I still download for those periods that are closed?

Yes.

Is GL Audit Numbering feature required to download GL Data Extract?

Yes. Upon fixing Issue 431121, Tax Audit File bundle version 1.54 thereafter will now require GL Audit Numbering for reports starting 2018. GL Audit Numbering is not required if you are trying to download prior 2018 GL Data Extract reports.
