When updating a customer, lead or a prospect recordNetSuite gives the CSV Response "Could not find any records by thisname." Customer ID is being used as the key identifier. Viewingthe record, shows exactly the same value as what is in the CSV file.
The solution is to check whether the Customer IDhas an extra space in between. Edit the record and check whether theCustomer ID field has a double space between the name. If it has a doublespace, remove the extra space.
1. Editthe customer record.
2. Uncheckthe Auto box.
3. Removethe extra space found.
4. Savethe record.
This error is alsoencountered when the user maps an incorrect CSV field to the key identifier. For example, mapping the Internal ID of the customer against the NetSuite fieldCustomer: Customer ID.
