From Email Address on Transaction Emails - 'on behalf of'

 

1. In order for the Company Return Email Address to be the From Email of a transaction the following should be set:
   
   Setup > Company > Email Preferences > Transactions section:  From Address for Emailed forms:  Company Return Email Address
   
   Result: The From Email Address is the Company Email set under Setup > Company > Company Information : Return Email address
   
   
2. If User Email Address is selected instead of Company Return Email Address under Setup > Company > Email Preferences >  Transactions section:  
   
   From Address for Emailed forms, then there should be an email set under the profile section of Home > Set Preferences > General Tab.
   
   
3. Result: The From Email Address that will show up in the email will be the From Email Address set by the user under Home > Set Preferences
   
   
4. If User Email Address is selected under Setup > Company > Email Preferences >  Transactions section: 
   
   From Address for Emailed forms and no Email Address and Nickname was set under Home > Set Preferences > General Tab
   
   Result: The From Email Address will be: [Company Return Email Address] 'on behalf of' Company Name [User Login Email]
   
   
5. If User Email Address is selected under Setup > Company >  Email Preferences >  Transactions section: 
   
   From Address for Emailed forms and no Nickname was set under Home > Set Preferences > General Tab
   
   Result: The From Email Address will be: [Company Return Email Address] 'on behalf of' Company Name [User Login Email]
