When processing Asset Depreciation, the Asset Depreciation Status shows the number of assets that have been depreciation but it does not provide a link to the list of this depreciation transactions. |
Create a saved search as follows to view the details of the depreciation transactions processed: |

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New > FAM - Depreciation History |
2. In the Criteria tab: |
-- Set filters |
a. Transaction Type is Depreciation |
b. Date Created is within today |
c. Posting Reference : Account Type is Expense |

3. In the Results tab: |
-- Set the following fields |
Asset |
Asset : Name |
Transaction Type |
Date |
Transaction Amount |
Net Book Value |
Posting Reference |
Quantity |
Posting Reference : Memo |
Posting Reference : Account |
Posting Reference : Amount |
Posting Reference : Period |
4. In the Available Filters tab: |
-- Set the following Filters and Mark Show in Footer |
Memo |
-- Set also the Default Text Field Filter to contains |
5. Set the Name of the Search. |
6. Save and Run |

Note: The memo would be a helpful filter if you use a Depreciation Reference when processing Asset Depreciation. The text entered in this field becomes part of the memo so the result can be filtered by setting the memo to contain the words entered in the Depreciation Reference to get exact transactions processed at one time. |
