When users want to see the percentage comprised by each grouped result on a saved search, they can use the % of Total function.
Consider the sample search below:
1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New.
2. Click the Case link.
3. Click the Results tab and set the following result fields:
- Assigned To (Summary Type: Group)
- Number (Summary Type: Count)
4. Click Save & Run.
Notice that the search shows two columns: Assigned To and each support person's No. of Cases. To compute for the case productivity rate of each support person, they may add the following result field:
Field: Number
Summary Type: Count
Function: % of Total
The search then returns the Assigned To, Total No. of Cases per support person, and each count's % of Total.
