Depreciation process results to an error, "Depreciation failed: NCFAR_JOURNALERROR - Code: USER_ERROR Details: Please enter value(s) for: XXXX."
This is the result of a custom field set as mandatory in the Preferred Journal Entry form.
Currently, it is not possible to enter a default value on a mandatory custom field of a Journal Entry form.

To get through the Depreciation process:
1. Remove the custom field from being mandatory in the Preferred Journal Entry Form
-Navigate to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
-Click Edit on the preferred Journal Entry form
-Navigate to Screen Fields tab
-Look for the custom field.
-Set Show = T
-Set Mandatory = F
-Click Save
2. Inactivate the Depreciation process if stuck in In Progress Status
-Navigate to Fixed Assets > Background Processing > Process Instance List
-Look for Asset Depreciation stuck in Status = In Progress
-Set Show Inactives = T
-Put a check mark on Inactive column
-Click Submit
3. Run the Depreciation again
-Navigate to Fixed Assets > Transactions > Asset Depreciation
-Select Asset Type
-Enter a Depreciation Period
-Click Depreciate Assets
