Custom Role Without Related Fixed Asset Permission Can View the Fixed Assets Tab

In a One World account, a user with a role that does not have a permission relating to the Fixed Assets module can see the Fixed Assets tab.

To ensure that this does not happen, do the following:

 

Edit the Audience in the Classic Center Type for Fixed Assets:

1. Navigate to Customization > Centers and Tabs > Center Tabs.
2. Click Edit on Center tab with Name = Fixed Assets and Center Type = Classic Center
3. Navigate to Audience tab
4. Remove the check mark on Select All for Roles box
5. On the selection box select Administrator and other Roles that you would like to access the Fixed Assets Center tab
6. Remove values in Subsidiaries selection box
7. Click Save

Note: Perform the same steps for the Accounting Center Type for Fixed Asset.
