Custom Record Form Used does not Load when Viewing Records

In a Transaction (Eg. Opportunity) --

1. Navigate to Customization > FormsTransaction Forms > Opportunity Forms:

Standard Opportunity Form
Preferred Opportunity Form (Custom) > Marked as Preferred
Opportunity with Tax Code (Custom)

2. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Create Opportunities > Manually set Custom Form = Opportunity with Tax Code > Fill out mandatory fields > Click Save.

3. Edit the record.

Note: The transaction is able to retain the custom form selected even if it's not the preferred form set.

In a Custom Record --

1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsRecord Types > New.
2. In the Custom Record, navigate to the Forms tab and create several custom forms.
3. Create a new record, and set the custom form field to a non preferred form.
4. Click Save.
5. Edit the record and take note of the custom form set.

Note: The custom record loads defaulted to the preferred form and not the original form selected when it was created.

To be able to save the custom form selected and make sure it does not default to the preferred form, Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & FieldsRecord Types > Edit the Custom Record > Forms tab > Edit the non preferred form > Set Store Form with Record = T > Save.
