Standard/CustomForm: Status Field Not Showing on Sales Order on Edit Mode

Solution:

 

A. Verify if this is a drop-ship sales order.  Drop-ship sales orders with a status of Pending Fulfillment can no longer be edited because the Status field will be unavailable in Edit mode.  This is because a purchase order is already linked to the sales order.

To have the Status field available, the linked purchase order/s must be deleted.
 
B. Verify if there are other transactions linked to the sales order under the History tab > Fulfillments and Invoices or Related Records > Fulfillments and Invoices.  If the order was already fulfilled, billed, or partially fulfilled or billed, the Status field will be unavailable.
