Save Mail to NetSuite on Outlook Integration gets an Error Message: "Insufficient _Permission You do not have permissions to set a value for element due to field is read-only"

When saving mail to NetSuite from Outlook, user is getting the following error message: Insufficient _Permission You do not have permissions to set a value for element due to field is read-only. The user has a default role set and has permission to Documents and Files.

To resolve this error, perform the following steps (Administrator role is required):

1. Navigate to Setup > Integration > Web Services Preferences 

Note: Whatever default role here should supercede the default role in the Choose Role page.

2. Navigate Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

3. Edit the role.

4. Click the Permissions tab.

5. In the Lists subtab, add Documents and Files.

6. Set Level to Full.

7. Click Add.

8. Click Save.
