Create Dynamic Contact Group of Customers that Purchased a Specific Item

First part is to create the customer search.

     1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New.
     
     2. Select Customer.
     
     3. Provide a Search Title.
     
     4. In the Criteria tab > Standard subtab to set the following filters:

  • Transaction Fields: Item (select an item from the dropdown)
  • Contact Fields:Global Subscription Status is none of Soft Opt-Out, Confirmed Opt-Out

     
     5. In the Results tab > Columns subtab to add the following fields:

  • Name
  • Contact Fields :Name
  • Contact Fields :Email
  • Contact Fields: Global Subscription Status


     6. Click Save.


Second part is to create the customer group.

     1. Navigate to Lists > Relationships > Groups > New.

     2. On the Create Group page, choose Dynamic.

     3. Choose Customer for the kind of members you would like this group to contain.

     4. Click Continue.

     5. Enter a name for this group.

     6. Select the saved search created earlier in the Saved Search field.

     7. Click Save.

     8. Click Group Contacts.

     9. Enter a name for this Group.

     10. Click Save.
